Douglas E. Futch

Douglas E. Futch , 76, of Mixon, passed away on November 11, 2019, in Tyler, Texas. He was born January 2, 1943, in Baskin, Louisiana to the late Thomas H. Futch and Myrtle Hazilett Futch.

Funeral services for Douglas will be 2:00 pm, Friday, November 15, 2019, at First Baptist Church, Mixon with Reverends Joe Ballard and James L. Goforth, Jr. Burial will follow at Mixon Cemetery. 

Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mr. Futch was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Mixon.

He is preceded in death by parents, son, James Edward Futch, brothers, Wayne H. Futch, James W. Futch, Jerry A. Futch, and sister, Frances E. Futch Robinson.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Futch of Troup; daughter, Arla Phelps of Troup; sister, Shirley Ann Barron of Farmerville, LA; Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
