Alice Rodriguez Cherry

Alice Cherry, 82, of Troup, passed away on April 9, 2024, in Troup, Texas. She was born on June 25, 1941, in Port Lavaca, Texas, to the late Enrique and Pauline Perez Rodriguez.

Funeral services for Alice Cherry will be 11:00 am on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas, with Reverend Preston Lindsey officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas.

Alice was a resident of the Troup community, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked as an Office manager for a doctor for many years. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, canning, arts and crafts. She was known for making wedding cakes. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

Alice is survived by her husband David Cherry of Troup, daughter, Paula Howell and husband Marion of Troup; son, Adam Cherry of Troup; sisters, Mary Gaitan of Deer Park, Theresa Martinez and husband Jim of California; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Davis, Ali Reynoso, and Robert Peckham; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia Peralez, niece, Sylvia Grimes, and brother, Joe Rodriguez.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
