Alice Pugh, 83, of Troup, Texas passed away on May 29, 2024, in Waco, Texas. She was born on April 6, 1941, in Tyler, Texas, to the late Raymond and Lottie Pearl (Riley) Lewis.
Graveside services for Alice Pugh will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Larissa Cemetery, Jacksonville, Texas with Reverend Steven Oakes officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas.
Alice was a resident of the Troup community and a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Whitehouse, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and reading. She retired from Skaggs-Albertson in Tyler and worked in the cafeteria for Troup ISD for many years, and later retired from Walmart in Jacksonville. Alice will forever be missed by her family and friends.
Alice is survived by her children, Julie Willard and husband Steve, Raymond Harper and wife Ana, and Douglas Ray Pugh; sister, Anna Williams and husband Mike; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband E.T. Pugh, and son Elbert Trenton Pugh, Jr.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
