Amanda J. Hofferbert

Amanda J. Hofferbert, 90, of Dallas, Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. She was born July 24, 1931, in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Paul Rufus and Lola Belle Reynolds Johnson of Troup TX.

Private Services will be held graveside on December 28th.

Amanda was a retired Librarian for the City of Richardson. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church in Dallas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Johanna Nelson, husband Richard Hofferbert, and husband Gary Hanson as well as fiancé Fred Anepohl.

She is survived by her children, Jill Ellen Johnson and husband Jay of Wellington, CO, Beth Elaine Taylor and husband Paul of Dallas, Mark Gary Hanson and wife Sylvia of Mesa, AZ, and stepdaughter, Holly Goudie and husband Doug of Troy, MI; 9 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
