Aneitta Nathlee Springfield, 86, of Overton, passed away on June 26, 2024, in Overton, Texas. She was born on November 2, 1937, in Troup, Texas, to the late Sam Fields and Jewell Knight Fields.

Funeral services for Aneitta Springfield will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, prior to the service.

Aneitta was a resident of the Overton community. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to garden and read. Genealogy was a passion of hers. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

Aneitta is survived by her son, Dale Springfield and wife Kim of Plano, TX; daughter, Michelle May and husband Chris of Houston, TX; 2 grandchildren, Malia May and Mitchell May.

Aneitta is preceded in death by her parents, husband Royce Springfield, infants Sherry and Michael Springfield, and brother Ronnie Fields.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
