Barbara Louise (Birdsong) Vickers

Barbara Louise Vickers, 75, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2021, in Tyler, Texas. She was born July 23, 1945, in Tyler, Texas to the late Euie and Dannie Weakley Birdsong.

Barbara was a cook for Dairy Queen for many years. She was a member of a Baptist Church. She loved her family with all of her heart.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Archie of Troup, Kenny Archie and wife Meredith of Tyler; sisters, Linda McQuiston of Troup; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
