Beatrice Sloan Williams, 96, of Arp, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2022, in Arp, Texas. She was born January 27, 1926, in Smith, County to the late John and Lula Golden.
Memorial services for Beatrice Sloan Williams will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church, with Reverend Kenneth Meadows and Reverend Mike Bloodsworth officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.
Beatrice was a member of the community her entire life. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Chapel Hill.
She is preceded in death by her 1st husband, J.W. Sloan, her husband, T.L. Williams, daughter, Beverly Swinney, son-in-law, Dale Swinney, stepdaughter, Sandra Williams, and son-in-law, Sergio Cavazos, brothers, Audie Golden, and Oran Golden, and sisters, Lena Bell Harris, Ruth Dykes, Martha Harris, and Eva Kellis.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Cavazos of Arp; son, Kendall Williams and wife, Melinda of Midland; sisters, Mary Segroves of Chapel Hill and Annie Golden of Chapel Hill; 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey Cavazos and wife, Jewel, Jason Cavazos and wife, Jaclyn, Bret Swinney and wife, Kristen, Drew Swinney and wife, Ashley, Kristopher Williams and wife, Audra, Kyler Williams and partner, Ashleigh, Jeff Herndon, and Jada Allen; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors.
