Betty Jo Andrews

Betty Jo Andrews, 78, of Troup, passed away on December 13, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on August 14, 1946, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Alford Andrews and Gladys (Brown) Schoonover.

Graveside services for Betty Andrews will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at McFadden Cemetery, Dover, Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home in Troup, Texas.

Betty was a resident of the Troup community, and she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, dancing, and watching old movies. She was a retired CNA, she loved caring for people.  She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her son, Eric Hanks and wife Rita of Troup; daughter, Robin Barrington of Troup; sister, Mary Turner of Topeka, KS; 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
