Bettye Ann (Goetzman) Andrews

Bettye A. Andrews, 88, of Arp, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. She was born December 11, 1933, in Picayune, Mississippi to the late Janice and Maude Goetzman.

Funeral services for Bettye Andrews will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Overton, with Reverend Dr. Ron Klingsick officiating. Burial will follow at Mason Cemetery, Arp.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home.

Bettye enjoyed reading, music, loved keeping and tending to her beautiful yard. She truly loved spending time with her family and making her Thanksgiving dressing for them. She was a member of Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church, Arp.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lester Andrews; son, Mark Andrews; granddaughter, Elizabeth Nicole Boyd; 3 brothers, Herman, James, and J.C.; and sister, Marie.  

She is survived by her daughters, Janet Kellum of Arp, and Sharon Pratt of Arp; 6 grandchildren, Craig Kellum and wife, Katy, Tracey Ferguson and husband, Paul, Casey Boyd, Steven Pratt, Jamie Andrews, Mark Andrews, Jr. and wife, Amanda; 9 great-grandchildren, Taylor Roberson, Beth Kellum, Skylar Prater, Kinsley Kellum, Logan Andrews, Lake Andrews, Addison Boyd, Averie Boyd, and Baylor Boyd; 2 great-great grandchildren, Presley Roberson, and Brooks Roberson.

Pallbearers will be Craig Kellum, Mark Andrews, Jr., Casey Boyd, Paul Ferguson, Lou Roberson, and Steven Andrews. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Crooks, and Stephen Pratt.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
