Billy James Fields, 64, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2025, in White Settlement, Texas. He was born on December 3, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Royal and Frances Louise Dark Fields.

Funeral services for Billy Fields will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas. Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, prior to the Funeral.

Billy was a resident of the Fort Worth community, and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He worked in the paint department at Walmart for 27 years. He was an avid book reader and loved books. He will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Billy is survived by his father, Royal T. Fields of Whitehouse; sister, Cynthia Kay Fields Phillips of Benbrook, TX; niece Michelle Phillips; nephew Kevin Phillips; and friends, Tammy Cooley and John Berry.

Billy is preceded in death by his mother Frances Louise Fields, brother-in-law Clifford Phillips and special friend Dustin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
