Bob Overman, 72, of Overton, passed away on May 16, 2021. He was born July 21,1948 in Durham, North Carolina to Tommy and Faye Overman.
Celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, May 22,2021 at 3:00 p.m. at The Promise Building at First Assembly Of God. 501 E. Brandon St. Overton, Tx
Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2021 at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home from 6-8p.m.
He married the love of his life Claire Ann Beal on January 14,1968 in Orange County California. He was a police officer in Overton Texas and a member of First Assembly of God.
Preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Thomas Overman and Rachel LaFaye Overman.
Survivors include 3 children, Donald Overman of Texas City Texas, Lisa Overman of Long Beach California, and Mark and wife Christolle Overman of Overton Texas; 8 grandchildren, Danielle Griffith, Jake Boyd, Collin Overman, Clayton Overman, Christopher Waits, Mark Overman Jr, Courtney Overman, Matthew Overman; 11 great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
