Brenda McElroy

Brenda Jean McElroy, 77, of Arp Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. She was born April 14, 1945, in Tyler, Texas to the late Aubrey and Helen Mason Maynard.

Memorial Graveside for Brenda McElroy will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2023, at Mason Cemetery, Arp with Joe Cox officiating .

Brenda enjoyed quilting, sewing, and reading, and loved taking care of her family. She was a longtime member of Overton Eastern Star. She attended Bar None Cowboy Church in Tatum.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Fred McElroy.

She is survived by her son, Michael McElroy and wife Meagan of Arp; grandchildren, Andrew McElroy and wife Laney of Arp, Madalyn Poole of Arp, Aubrey Poole of Arp, and Mollie McElroy of Arp; great-grandchildren, Landry McElroy and Landon McElroy both of Arp.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, Tx 75701.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
