Carl David Wilkerson, 90, of Arp, Texas, went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2021, in Tyler, Texas. He was born October 14, 1931, in Era, Texas to the late George Otto and Myrtle Wilkerson.

He worked as the manager at American Can Company. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of Everett Road Baptist Church, Tyler.
He is survived by his loving wife Lorene Carpenter Wilkerson of Arp; children, Debbie Carla Powell of San Antonio, Janet Wilkerson Thelen and husband, Keith of Adkins, Carl David Wilkerson, Jr. and wife, Trayce Orr of Fort Worth and Timothy O’Neil Wilkerson of Belmont, Ma.; step-children, Glynnda Rogers of Arp, Glenn Rogers and wife Kathy of Fort Worth, Tammye Patridge and husband, Gene of Arp, and William Arthur Rogers of Port Aransas; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
