Carolyn Sue Worl

Memorial services for Carolyn Worl, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at First Methodist Church, Troup, Texas with Reverend Jason Sutfin officiating.

Carolyn was born January 13, 1933, in Independence, Kansas and went to be with Jesus on March 12, 2026 in Longview, Texas.

Carolyn was a long-time residence of the Troup Community, where she served as choir director for 37 years at First Methodist Church of Troup. She retired as an office manager for a dental office after many years. Carolyn loved her cats especially Kitty Girl and Milo. She also loved playing Mahjong and teaching her kids and grandkids how to swim. And spending time with her family, and she will be forever missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wesley and Rudencie Merle Elliott Reno and sister, Virginia Reno Weidlein.

She is survived by her children, Susan Garvey and husband George of Tyler, Steven Worl and wife Georgana of Troup, and Rex David Worl and wife Kim of Troup; 6 grandchildren, Stace Rasberry and husband Max, Jennifer Cheney, Shandye Nizio, Wesley Worl, Jett David Worl and wife Casey, and Lauren Elizabeth Neal and husband Brandon; 13 great-grandchildren, Jake Rasberry and wife Jurnee, Josie Livengood and husband Paul, Jim Rasberry, Max Cheney, Chloe Cheney, Chandler Boggs and wife Maiya, Carter Nizio, Chase Nizio, Skylar Worl, Kasen Worl, Channing Worl, Presley Worl, and Laken Neal; 1 great-great-grandson, T.J. Livengood.
