retired in 1991. After retirement from his professional career, he began tinkering with old
cars. He then went into the rental property business with his son. Charles was born in

Charles was a hard worker, dedicated and loyal to what he believed in. He would go all
day and half the night at whatever project he was involved in. He loved to tell stories
and joke around with everybody. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Charles was an
old hot rodder who spent much of his youth on a race track with the hotrods he built and
left with many 1 st place trophies. During race season he could be found watching nascar
cheering his favorite driver. He played baseball and bowled many years. He loved his
family, cows and farm cats. Old time honesty, hard work and dedication is what he was
about.
Charles was a dedicated family man. He was always there and always wanting to help
with whatever you were doing. What can I do to help? Was a common response when
you told him what you were doing. He was a great Dad who will be missed for the
person he was.
