Charles Henry Kelly, 77, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on March 2, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2022, prior to the service.
Funeral services for Charles Kelly will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2022, at J-C Cowboy Church, Bullard, with Pastor Mike Blumn officiating.
Charles was born in Jasper, Texas, to Henry Edward and Doris Lestley Pharr Kelly, on April 4, 1944. He graduated from Jasper High School. He married Rita Jones Kelly on June 16, 1967. He worked as a painter for Tyler ISD and Sherwin Williams, then became a self-employed house painter. He was a member of the J-C Cowboy Church.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by his wife, Rita Kelly of Troup; children, Roger Kelly of Troup, Karyn Revelle and husband Len of Smithton, IL, Sandie Dickey and husband Homer of Troup; brother, Curtis Kelly of Jasper; sister, Patricia Lowe and husband J.T. of Jasper; 6 grandchildren, Michael Kelly and wife Catherine, Seth Boynton, Brittany Brinson and husband Brandon, Garrett Boynton, Sydnie Dickey, and Eli Dickey; 4 great-grandchildren, Brantley, Branton, Brixton, and Brylan Brinson.
Pallbearers will be Roger Kelly, Homer Dickey, Michael Kelly, Brandon Brinson, Seth Boynton, and Garrett Boynton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
