Charles Edward Logsdon

Charles Edward Logsdon, 79, of Overton, passed away on November 7, 2020, in Overton, Texas. He was born March 27, 1941 in Bedford, PA to the late Dewain and Hazel Logsdon.

Graveside services for Charles Logsdon will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Rusk County Memorial Gardens, Henderson, Texas with Dudley Plaisance officiating.

He married the love of his life, Janet Logsdon on December 31, 1971 in Mercer County, PA. He was a self-employed truck driver.  He was a Mason and auctioneer who loved fishing, hunting, playing bingo and his workshop chores.

Preceded in death by his parents, Dewain and Hazel Logsdon, daughter, Charlotte Logsdon, 2 sisters, Shirley Wilson and Virginia Davis, and brother, Dewain Logsdon.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Logsdon of Overton; son, Charles D. Logsdon of Manns Choice, son Scott Logsdon of Longview, son, Dale Logsdon of Arp, daughter, Junita Wilson of Alum Bank, PA, daughter, Leeanna Logsdon of Bedford, PA, daughter, Robin Bowser of Bedford, PA and daughter, Janet Logsdon of Overton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
