Charles Woychesin

Charles David Woychesin, 81, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on October 27, 2022, in Troup, Texas.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Overton, with Father Luis officiating. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Visitation and Rosary will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Charles was born in Marlin, Texas to Charles Paul and Victoria Kubiak Woychesin on August 21, 1941. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, building things with wood, watching NASCAR, and telling stories. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Overton. He loved his family with all of his heart.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Paul Woychesin and Victoria Kubiak Woychesin, and his wife Barbara Woychesin.

Charles is survived by his children, Susie Puccio of Conroe, TX, Theresa Burnett and husband David of Spring, TX, and Sharon Wojcieszyn of Washington, DC; sisters, Nancy Brewer of Whitehouse, Jeani Marshall of Troup; brother, Kenny Woychesin of Groveton; grandchildren, Jennifer Flowers and husband Justin, Noah Bickford, Kyle Burnett and wife Ines, Sean Burnett and wife Hannah, Eric Burnett and wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, Lil Justin Flowers, David Flowers, Brady Burnett, Lily Burnett, and Madeline Burnett.

Pallbearers Kyle Burnett, Sean Burnett, Eric Burnett, Noah Bickford, Justin Flowers, Sr., Justin Flowers, Jr., David Flowers, and David Burnett.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
