Cindy, a devoted homemaker, found great joy in caring for her family and creating a home filled with love. She built strong and meaningful relationships within her church family, where her faith and kindness were evident to all. Cindy’s smile could brighten any room, and her quick, funny sense of humor made her a delight to be around. She was thoughtful, caring, and always willing to help others. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ronnie Durrett, Sr.; two children, Shawna Cook (husband, Cody) and Ronnie Durrett, Jr. (wife, Ashley); five grandchildren, Natalie Wiggins, Tye Tamplin, Tripp Durrett, Kenley Durrett, and Kollyn Durrett; one great-grandchild, Kingston; and siblings Doug Hankins and Juanita McGilvra.
