Clark Driver Obituary

Clark Andrew Driver

September 20, 1960 – April 12, 2026

Clark “Andy” Driver went home to the Lord on Sunday, April 12, 2026. He was born in Tyler, Texas, on September 20, 1960.

Andy grew up in a close-knit family, surrounded by love and grounded in faith. He attended Chapel Hill, later earning his GED. Throughout his life, he was known as a hard worker and an accomplished welder for Smith Oil for many years. He was also a selfless man—someone who would give a stranger the shirt off his back without hesitation.

Andy loved deeply and unconditionally. He was an amazing, devoted husband. He and his wife Deborah shared in their passion of doing woodworking as a hobby together while raising their kids and he was a truly good dad. His sense of humor got him into trouble just as often as it got him out of it, and if he loved you, you could count on him to aggravate you just a little. That was his way. He was a great man, and he will be missed more than words can express.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 35 years, Deborah Driver, whom he followed just 25 days later; his father, Harold Wayne Driver of Tyler; and his brother, Jeff Driver of Tyler.

He is survived by his children: Shannon Kincaid of Kilgore; Jennifer Corp and husband Wallace of Longview; and Kimberly Beebe and husband Ben of Liberty City. He is also survived by his mother, Patsy Ray Grimes Driver of Tyler; his sister Lanette Frank of Tyler; his sister, Sarah Driver of Tyler; and his brother, Steve Driver and wife Julie of Kilgore.

He leaves behind his loving grandkids and great granddaughters, aunts, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Finally, his children would like everyone to know—he really was a really, really good dad.
