Cletus Robert Burnett, 62, of Arp, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2022, in Arp, Texas. He was born, in Maquoketa, Iowa to the late Allen and Mary Burnett

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Cletus Robert Burnett enjoyed riding his Harley and loved camping.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Peggy Burnett of Arp; daughter, Brandy Shanahan of Bellevue, Iowa; 3 sisters, Cherie Archer of Troup, Barbara Simms of Troup and Laura Burnett of Bellevue, Iowa; brother, James Burnett of Andrew, Iowa; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
