The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Colin Pucheu, 28, of Jacksonville, Texas, on November 15, 2025. Born December 27, 1996, in Tyler. Colin brought joy, light, and love to everyone blessed to know him.
Colin worked hard and cared deeply for the people around him. Outside of work, he found peace and freedom in riding his motorcycle. He treasured every moment spent with his family and friends. His genuine heart, easy smile, and loving spirit made him someone you couldn’t help but love.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather father, Joseph Chester Pucheu, Jr.
Colin’s memory lives on through his Grandmother, Brenda Pucheu; his sister, Katie Pucheu; Uncle Chris and Aunt Jennifer Pucheu children Audrey and Ryder
Aunt Stacey and Uncle Kevin children Madilyne and Lavery Henson,
Also the large, loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will never forget him.
Services to honor Colin’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2025, at Grace Hill Church in Troup, with Reverend Joe Ballard officiating.
Though our hearts are heavy, we rest in God’s promise that He is near to us — and that Colin is now held safely in His arms.
He will be laid to rest next to his grandfather at the Whitehouse cemetery.
