David Bradley Hanna, 54, of Proctor, West Virginia, passed away on December 1, 2023, in Glen Dale, West Virginia. He was born on January 8, 1969, in Tyler, Texas, to Anthony Mac and Donna Casey Hanna.
Memorial services for David Hanna will be 6:00 pm, Friday, December 8, 2023, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday, December 8, 2023, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
David was a geologist for an Oil and Gas Company, and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He served in the United States Air Force. David was an avid outdoorsman, and loved the mountains, that was his happy place surrounded by his wonderful friends. He also enjoyed many vacations with close friends to the beach. David’s most prized possessions were his shoes, he had hundreds of pairs and had impeccable style. David loved photography and had a fascination with clocks.
David is survived by his parents, Donna and Neil Haberson of Troup; brother, Anthony “Tony” Mac Hanna, Jr. of Troup; 2 sisters, Regina K. Hanna of Cloudcroft, NM and Julie Nichols of Hallsville; brother-in-law, Michael Soter; nephews and nieces, Casey Flanagan, Nathan Lemons, Tony Wayne Hanna, Chad Hanna, Emily Thompson, and Kelli Hefner; step-sisters, Jana Watts and Tracy Smith.
Daivd is preceded in death by father, Anthony Mac Hanna and brother-in-law, Dustin Nichols.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
