Donald Buckman Obituary

Don ‘the Tree Man’ Buckman, age 61. Born January 7, 1960, passed away on September 5, 2021. After climbing to great heights in trees all his life, he’s finally reached his ultimate goal of making heaven his home.

Born in St. Louis Missouri, the USMC brought him to California where he raised his kids, he then moved to Overton Texas where he found his hearts home. He loved the folks of Overton and prayed for them daily.

He was loved dearly and will be truly missed. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Buckman, daughter Rachel Evans, son Billy Buckman and wife Tanya, his stepdaughter Chyal Bowden and husband Seth, Sister Becky Kohler and family. He was Papa to Isis Evans, Andrew, Zachariah, Harper, & Clark Bowden. Papa is now building that tree house in Heaven.
