Donna Sue Montgomery

Donna Montgomery, 83, of Tyler, TX, passed away on May 7, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on September 19, 1941, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Austin and Mary Estalee Johnson Locklear.

Graveside services for Donna Montgomery will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Pinecrest Cemetery Troup, Texas.

Donna was a master gardener and an avid painter of the beautiful things around her. She loved sitting by the lake with her family talking, laughing, and just being together. She was very talented bookkeeper in accounting for many years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband Jack Montgomery; children, Robin Rowe, Chuck Curry, Deborah Smith, Kim Lovelace, Vickie Taylor, Pamela Aswell, Beverly Crabtree, Tonya Montgomery, and Karen Murray, brother, Melvin Locklear; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Danny Curry and grandson Eli Swinney.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
