Donna Kay Smart,70, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on August 21, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.

Donna was born in Farmersville, Texas to Truman and Ellen Melinda Gibson Wigington on October 5, 1951. She loved to be on the computer and enjoyed watching birds. She called her little town of Troup, Texas, her Little Mayberry. She loved her family with all of her heart.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters, Corbie Wigington, and Barbara Covington.

Donna is survived by her sons, Jason Strawn and girlfriend Carolyn James of Troup, and Sand Strawn of Troup; sister, Carol Burris of Holly Lake; 1 grandchild, Trevor West; and numerous other family members and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
