Doris Orvillene Boyd

Doris Orvillene Boyd, 94 of Arp Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2025. Orvillene was born in Seminole, Oklahoma to Orville and Ida Mae Murrell on July 28, 1931.

Orvillene devoted her life to her family that she loved and adored with all of her heart.

Orvillene is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Jay Boyd; 3 granddaughters, Nicole Boyd, Katie Stiles, Sheldon Stiles; and son, Scooter Boyd.

Orvillene is survived by her son, Rocky and wife, Cheree of Pearland, daughter Tammy Stiles of Arp; grandchildren Rebecca Sills, Emily Lindsey, Eric Boyd, Corey Boyd and Casey Boyd; great-grandchildren Lazarus Sills, Austin and Katelyn Boyd, Christian Boyd, Ryver Debusk and Ely Boyd.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Pearson Funeral Home, 905 S Commerce Street, Overton, Texas.
