Dorothy Linker Obituary

Dorothy Mae Linker, 93, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2021, in Troup, Texas. She was born July 19, 1928, in Splash Dam, Virginia, to the late Aaron and Jettie Legg Runyons.

She was a nurse’s aide for Riverside Hospital for many years. She loved and cherished her family with all of her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Aaron Hudson, Donnie Hudson; 4 brothers, Carl Spradling, Clarence Spradling, Earnest Spradling, Bill Spradling, and 2 sisters, Beulah Dunfee, and Lillian McGillvary.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Shelia Creekbaum of Troup, TX, Shirley Marie Northcutt and husband Rick of Royce City, TX, and Louise Lee Lenoir and husband Rodney of NC; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
