Douglas Harris

Douglas Maurice Harris, 80, of Tyler, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on December 3, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Bascom Cemetery, Tyler with Chaplain Tim Wade officiating.

Douglas was born in Tyler, Texas to Sam L. Harris and Aline Boulter Harris on August 9, 1942. He worked as a Commercial Bus Driver for many years. He was a member of Hill Top Church of the Nazarene. He loved his family with all of his heart.

Douglas is preceded in death by his parents, Sam L. Harris and Aline Boulter Harris.

Douglas is survived by his wife Karen Harris of Tyler; daughter, Lisa Wright and husband, Greg of Tyler; grandchildren, Rebecca Wright, Samuel Wright and wife Emily, and Kathryn Wright; great-grandson, Caleb Wright.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Troup.
