Dustin J Nichols, 43, of Hallsville, Tx, passed away on August 5, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on October 9th,1979, in Henderson, Tx, to Sammy and Linda Nichols.
Funeral services for Dustin will be 10:00 am, Thursday, August 10th, 2023, at London Baptist Church, with Brother Tommy Hardin officiating, with burial following at Duncan Cemetery in Henderson, Tx.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Dustin married the love of his life, Julie Nichols, in 2009. He enjoyed traveling, loved sports especially the Dallas Cowboys, loved watching his nieces play sports, loved History, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the ETX Tractor Club and Small Engine of Henderson, Tx, as well as the Lone Star Tractor Club. He was NOT a fan of Ford.
Dustin is survived by his wife of 14 years, Julie Nichols; their children; Brian Nichols, Brandon Nichols, Emily Thompson and husband DeJon, and Kelli Hefner; granddaughter: Riley Hefner; father Sammy Nichols; mother Linda Tanner and stepfather Charley Tanner; his twin brother; Damon Nichols and wife Denice, and brother Matthew Lacoe; grandmother Katie Nichols; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dustin is preceded in death by grandparents, Roy E. Green Jr., Bonnie Casey, and Howard Nichols.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
