Elizabeth Ann “Annie” Stainback Knight, has departed from her earthly home, vessel to go live in a room prepared by her Father in Heaven. This transformation happened on April 26, 2024. She is so joyful and at peace in her Father’s house waiting for family and friends to join her for eternity.
Annie was born in Tyler, Texas, November 10, 1946, to Oddie Jr. and Frankie Cornelison Stainback.
Funeral services for Elizabeth Knight will be 10:00 am, Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Grace Hill Church with Reverend Joe Ballard and Roy Cooper officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
Annie was survived by her beloved husband, Jerial Anthony Knight of Troup, TX, son and wife, Mancil Shawn and Linda Dawkins of Troup, TX; stepson, Jerry Knight of Binghamton, NY; son-in-law and stepdaughter, Cherri and Daniel Kubisty of Whitehouse, TX; son-in-law, Keith Osborne; step grandchildren, Victor and Scarlett Osborne of Troup, TX; mother-in-law, Dorothy Clark of TN; sister-in-law, Vickie Stainback of Chandler, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lee and Connie Wills; brother-in-law, Allen Knight of TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Cheryl Gaul of TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jason and Mary Ann Martin of MS; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stevie and Becky Janes of TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donny and Susan Ledbetter of MS; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Calvin and Kim Knight, MS; sister-in-law, Jimmie Sue Knight of CA; A very special niece and nephew, Kyle and Lindsay Jones of Van, thank you for your loving care; Chad and Kate Stainback of Leonard, TX; special friend Wanda Scalin of Houston, for over 45 years of true friendship; Kellie Lauter, Goddaughter,” I pray, I planted a strong seed, that is growing”; numerous nephews and nieces across the USA; “A very special thank you,” to Lee and Connie Wills” for all your loving care and compassion during my illness;” My soulmate, Jerial, “Thank you for all the wonderful years together, thank you for your sweet, tender loving care.
