Ella Susan Pannell, 73, of Troup, passed away on July 8, 2024, in her home in Troup, Texas. She was born on November 6, 1950, in Olney, Texas, to the late Rosa Hays and Robert Wolfe.

Visitation services for Ella Susan Pannell will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M on Thursday July 11, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home in Troup, Texas. Graveside service to follow at 10:00 A.M on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Salem Cemetery, Troup, Texas with Rev. Steven Oaks officiating.

Ella Susan Pannell was a resident of the Troup community, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

Ella Susan Pannell is survived by her sister, Janet Stephens and husband Laverl of Lubbock, Texas and her brother, Roger Wolfe and wife Susan of Mineral Wells, sister-in-law Joyce Nayfa of Troup and brother-in-law James Pannell and wife Vickie of Troup. She is also survived by her children Billy John Pannell and wife Cheryl of Troup, James Dee Pannell of Troup, Sonny Clark of Weatherford, TX, and Barry Wehunt of Graford, TX; grandchildren, Chase Pannell, Nicholas Pannell and wife Samantha, Travis Pannell, Joshua Pannell, Hayden Pannell, Aria Pannell, Michael Pedroza; great grandchildren, Ty Tramp, Nash Tramp, Paislee Pannell, and Gary Pannell, as well as many other relatives, friends, and adored nieces and nephews.

Ella Susan Pannell is preceded in death by her husband John Leroy Pannell, parents Robert Wolfe & Rosa Hays, and granddaughter Madison Lea Pannell.  

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
