Franklin Rusnell

Franklin Delano Rusnell, 89, of Troup, passed away on April 25, 2023, in Mt. Enterprise, Texas. He was born on February 6, 1934, in Alba, Michigan, to the late Raleigh Rex Rusnell and Ida Mae Highnite Rusnell.

Graveside services for Franklin Rusnell will be 2:00 pm, Friday, April 28, 2023, at Shiloh Cemetery, Mt. Enterprise, Texas with Pastor Mike Blumn officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, and Visitation will also be on Thursday evening at family’s home in Mt. Enterprise, Texas.

Franklin was a resident of the Troup Community. He was a retired machinist from Trane. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Franklin is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Pam Rusnell McCasland and husband Rev. Wesley of Mt. Enterprise, and Bethney Rae Rusnell of Mabank; one grandson, Jonathan Rusnell.

Franklin is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Mollie O. Rusnell, and siblings.

Pallbearers will be Tony Davis, Joe Wright, Jonathan Rusnell, Phillip McCasland, Walter Flora, and Sonny Flora.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
