Gary Edward Clements

Gary Edward Clements, 63, of Overton, passed away on January 13, 2020 in Overton, Texas. He was born April 14, 1956 in Overton to Harold and Gloria Faye Lyon Clements.

Funeral services for Gary Clements will be 10:00 am, Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton, Texas with Pastor Jerry Hanson officiating. Burial will be at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Arp.

He graduated Arp High School. He worked for Waggoner Air Conditioning for many years and also worked for ARCO Pipeline in Sinclaire.  He loved his girls, family and friends and would give the shirt off of his back to help them. He really enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Clements and his maternal grandparents, Fred and Clarine Lyon and his paternal grandparents, Luke and Maggie Clements.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Lindsey and Jacob Klinger of Abilene and Brittany and Chip Thompson of Whitehouse; mother, Gloria Faye Lyon Clements of Arp; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Bruce Goodwin of Longview; his aunt, Mary Lyon Carol of Tyler; 7 grandchildren; 1niece; 1 nephew and numerous cousins.
