Harold McDougal

Harold McDougal, 80, of Troup, passed away on April 11, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on February 19, 1943, to the late Clifford and Belle McDougal.

Funeral services for Harold McDougal will be 10:00 am, Monday, April 17, 2023, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas with Reverend Joe Ballard officiating. Burial following service at Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Harold was a resident of the Troup community his entire life and a member of the Baptist Church. He retired from Kelly Springfield as an Operator. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching ME TV.

Harold is survived by his children, Tim McDougal and wife Rita of Troup, and daughter-in-law, Marty McDougal of Troup; sisters and brother-in-law, Gladys Hamilton of Troup, Jean Igo of Tyler, and Patsy Pittillo and husband Larry of Jacksonville; 6 grandchildren, Troy McDougal, Aaron McDougal, Jake McDougal and wife Savanna, John McDougal, Dakota McDougal, and Noah McDougal; 2 great-grandchildren, Ella McDougal and Dawson McDougal.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn McDougal, parents, son, Mark McDougal,  Daughter, Kathy Ann Tuttle, and granddaughter, Megan Tuttle.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers, Bryan Hamilton, Brad Hamilton, Terry Bundick, Paul Durrett, Clint Durrett, and Jason Hamilton. Honorary pallbearer will be Patrick Pittillo.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
