Harry Miller “Pops” O’Kelly, 74, of Whitehouse, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on July 29, 1949, in Longview, Texas, to the late Harry Gaines and Lillian Miller O’Kelly.
Funeral services for Harry O’Kelly will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 18, 2023, at Marvin Methodist Church, Tyler, Texas with Reverend Gerry Giles and Cody O’Kelly officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, Friday, August 18, 2023, prior to the service.
Harry was a resident of the Whitehouse community and a member of the Marvin Methodist Church of Tyler. He worked at Tyler Pipe as a Mainframe Administrator and retired from Mother Frances Hospital. He loved motorcycles and Ford trucks and spending time with his family. He loved working on projects with his grandkids and all neighbor kids’ bikes, and when he mowed his yard, he would mow the neighbors’ yard’s as well. He enjoyed traveling with his loving wife and the “Rat Pack”.
Harry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laura Denise O’Kelly of Whitehouse, TX.: 5 children, Heather Muckleroy and husband Gene of Pleasanton, TX., Amanda Black and husband Tony of Whitehouse, TX., Cody O’Kelly and wife Kellye of Eagle, CO., Lezlee Viteychuk and husband Chris of Austin, TX., and Austin O’Kelly and wife Michelle of Whitehouse, TX.; 17 grandchildren, William Muckleroy, Ben Muckleroy, Sadie Muckleroy, Macie Muckleroy, Rece Muckleroy, Trey Muckleroy, Kelly Black, Bobbie Black, Easton Black, Keegan O’Kelly, Quinn O’Kelly, Georgia Viteychuk, Dayton Viteychuk, Garrett Viteychuk, Taylor Viteychuk, Miller O’Kelly, and Cannon O’Kelly.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents.
