Helen Sue Shuttlesworth

Helen Sue Shuttlesworth, 77, of Jacksonville, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on August 12, 1947, in Fairfield, Texas, to the late Stover Gordon and Lillian Loper Gordon.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Helen was a resident of the Jacksonville community, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked in Housekeeping as a CNA for a nursing home for 10 years. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

Helen is survived by her children, Tim Warren of Troup, James Shuttlesworth of Tyler, and Rita Shuttlesworth of Tyler; sisters, Fran Barnett of Austin and Mary Franks of Longview.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents Stover Gordon and Lillian Gordon-Baker, and brother Bud Gordon.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
