Hershell Walter Pannell, 94, of Longview, Texas, went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2022, in Longview, Texas. He was born January 18, 1928, in Troup, Texas to the late Silas and Sarah Jane Pannell.

Graveside services for Hershell Pannell will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2022, at Ebenezer Cemetery, Arp.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Jean Pannell, son, Melvin Keith Pannell and sister, Marie Pannell.

He is survived by his son, Kelvin Pannell of Longview; 4 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
