James E. Boyd

James E. Boyd, 91, Arp, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on March 23, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

James was born in Overton to Edgar and Exie Herrin Boyd on February 12, 1931. He worked as a pipeline welder. He loved his family with all of his heart.

James is preceded in death by his parents, 3 granddaughters, Nicole Boyd, Katie Stiles, Sheldon Stiles, and son, Scooter Boyd.

James is survived by his wife, Orvillene Boyd of Arp; children, Rocky Boyd and wife Cheree of Pearland, Tammy Stiles of Arp; grandchildren, Rebecca Sills, Emily Stiles, Eric Boyd, Corey Boyd, and Casey Boyd; great-grandchildren, Austin and Katelyn Boyd, Christian Boyd, Ryver Debusk, Ely Boyd, Addison Boyd, Averie Boyd, Baylor Boyd, and Lazarus Sills.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
