James Lloyd Womack

Memorial services for James Lloyd Womack are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, with Jason Taylor, pastor of Bar None Church of Tatum officiating.

James passed away on the morning of April 21, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

James was born April 14, 1948, to the late Clara Womack and Leon Womack. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Talyeen Works. He is survived by his wife, Linda Nell Womack; sister, Shelia Carpenter and husband Ron; daughter, Suni Montenegro and husband, Ricardo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, Kelli Coats and Wendy McMichael.

James was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was a true cowboy at heart and had his share of cowboy hats. He was a pastor, chaplain, counselor and loved people.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
