In loving memory of Janice Elaine Bragg born November 30, 1940 and went to Glory September 13, 2025. She was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Bristow and Rebecca Bragg, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by nephews Paul Staples, Richard Staples, and David Miller, and niece Heather Smith-Elliott, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
She was dearly loved by so many. Her sewing group and her church family were a very important part of her life. She loved being part of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and the Hope Sunday School Class. Her love for God and her belief in the church community gave her faith a place to grow and share with others. She will be dearly missed always.
“Thank you, mom, for your living testimony. Without you we would not have known God.”
Luke 1:45
"Blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord."
Graveside services for Janice Bragg will be at 11:30 am, Thursday, September 18, 2025, at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.
A memorial service will be held for her on October 25th at 11am at Mt Carmel Baptist Church in Whitehouse, Texas. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to OCC/Operation Christmas Child, part of Samaritans Purse, an international relief non-profit. OCC delivers Christmas boxes to children all over the world. This was a cause that was very dear to Jan's heart as she has made dozens of dresses for these Christmas boxes.
