Jerry D. Calicutt, Sr.

Jerry D. Calicutt, Sr., 86, of Arp, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2022, at home peacefully holding his beloved wife and loving daughter, Teresa's hands. He was born October 01, 1935, in Arp, Texas to the late Luther and Coella Calicutt.

Funeral services for Jerry D. Calicutt, Sr., will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Reverend Dr. Ron Klingsick officiating. Burial will follow at Mason Cemetery, Arp.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.

Jerry and Fay were married 62 plus years. Jerry loved his family and family gatherings. He was such a positive person who uplifted everyone with his smiles and encouraging words. All of his grandchildren, great grand and great great-grandchildren were the apple of his eyes. His two eldest grandsons, Scotty Sieber, Jr. and Colt Sieber created priceless memories of always being active outside going to the deer camp, baling hay, working cattle and running heavy equipment. He loved all of his grands equaly. It is very important for his/our family to be united at all times. Jerry was a member of Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star in Troup. He was a Mason at the Canton Lodge #98 in Arp. He worked for Brown & Root for 30+ years as boilermaker superintendent and project manager. He also worked as a consultant in the oil & gas industry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Louise Powers, Robert Calicutt, and Winona Jo Crossland.

He is survived by his loving wife Alice Fay Wynne Calicutt of Arp, children, Teresa Calicutt of Arp and Don Calicutt, Jr. of Arp; brother, James Walter Calicutt of Granbury and sister, Pat Williams Parish and husband, Billy of Newark, AR; grandchildren, Scotty Sieber, Jr. and wife, Brittany, Colt Sieber, Bracken Calicutt; great-grandchildren, Teryn Sieber Judalet and husband, Kyle, Taylor Sieber, Bryant Sieber, Brody Sieber, Brant Sieber, and Abby Cantwell; great-great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Gale Stewart, Bexleigh Paige Judalet and Branson Judalet; granddogs, Lucky Sieber and Fancy Calicutt.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Sieber, Jr., Robin Calicutt, Darin Calicutt, Nolin Calicutt, Scotty Williams, Cleave Buck, Eddie Lynn Calicutt, and Brad Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are Colt Sieber, Piddler Hemby, Bud Calicutt, and Al Long.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church.
