Jerry "Bo" Stevens

Jerry Dale “Bo” Stevens, Jr., 50, of Arp, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2021, in Tyler, Texas. He was born December 15, 1970, in Richardson, Texas, to Jerry Dale, Sr., and Mary Jean Countryman Stevens.

Funeral services for Bo Stevens will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Troup Church of Christ, with Frank McLeod officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021, prior to the service.

Bo enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his daddy and the rest of his family. He took great pleasure in passing on all those traditions to his sons and grandsons. He was most proud of passing on his love for the Lord to them and to everyone he met.  He was the minister of the Troup Church of Christ. He had a servant’s heart and loved his family and his church family. He loved helping and giving to others. Any time you would see Bo, he would have a smile on his face.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jean Countryman Stevens.

He is survived by his wife Naulani Stevens of Arp; children, Jerry Buck Stevens and wife Hanna Jacole of Arp, Michael Trent Stevens of Arp, John Allen Stevens and wife Savanna Rose of Whitehouse, father, Jerry Dale Stevens, Sr., of Quinlan; sisters, Christy Henderson and husband Don of Terrell, Jane Ann Barton and husband Cecil of Wills Point; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Barbara Flora of Troup; 5 grandchildren, Braxton Alan Jackson-Stevens, Carter Lee Jackson-Stevens, Jeremiah Buck Stevens, Wyatt D’Wayne Stevens and baby Stevens on the way, known as “Peanut” to Boom Pa; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cory Barton, Jerry Buck Stevens, Cody Henderson, Cyle Henderson, Michael Gradick, Jr., Cody Brown, Sonny Flora, Walter Flora, Jr., Michael Stevens, and Alex Torres.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
