Joan B. (Pennington) Reider

Joan Reider, 80, of Overton, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. She was born June 20, 1941, in Rusk County, Texas to the late Hardy and Hazel Pennington.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.

Joan Reider was a very strong and independent woman who loved doing puzzles and reading books. She had a love for birds and enjoyed bird watching.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Green of New London; 3 sons, Charles Bogdanowitz of New London, James Mitchell of Overton, and William Reider of Overton; sister, Darlene Addikston of Godley and 4 grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
