John Carl Pierson

John Carl Pierson, 70, of Overton, Texas, went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2022, in Longview, Texas. He was born on August 20, 1951, in Port Arthur, Texas to John and Blanche Pierson.

Graveside services for John Carl Pierson will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Kilgore Memorial Gardens with Reverend Freddie Williams officiating.

John worked as a tool pusher for Circle M Well Service for many years.  He loved to fish and enjoyed a nice cold one.  He was very laid back and liked to watch western movies and read western books.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Lynn Pierson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Glenda Pierson of Overton; 3 children, Kim Machen and husband Harold Ray of Longview, John Christopher Pierson of Kilgore, and Jason Franklin Pierson and wife Jessica of Kilgore; grandchildren, Jacob Machen, Jayden Pierson, Nathan Pierson, Chelsea Pierson, Addison Pierson, Harper Pierson, Millie Pierson, Brandon Pierson, John Christopher Pierson, and Ryder Rushton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
