Joline Johnston, 68, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2021, in Troup, Texas. She was born August 29, 1953, in Natchez, Mississippi, to Jewel Netherland and Evelyn Reardon.

Memorial services for Joline Johnston will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021, at First United Methodist Church of Troup, with the Reverend John Thomas officiating.

Betty owned several beauty salons throughout the years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Troup. She loved spending time with her church family. She loved and cherished her family with all of her heart.

She is survived by her husband Kelly Johnston of Troup; children, Suzanne Alison Rey and husband Philippe Rene Bonard of Montreal, Canada, Johnny Rey of Troup, Nathaniel Johnston of Rogers, MN, and Shanel Johnston Sorenson of Fridley, MN; brother, Jay Netherland of Hamburg, MS; Susie Netherland of Hamburg, MS; 6 grandchildren, Mathieu Andre Bonard, Josphine Johnston, Raylyne Sorenson, Marcella Rey Bonard, Xander Johnston, and Lamia Sorenson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
