Joyce Ann Musslewhite

Joyce Ann Musslewhite, 90, of Arp, passed away on March 30, 2023, in Arp, Texas. She was born on February 25, 1933, to the late Tom and Arphie Ralston.

Graveside services for Joyce Musslewhite will be 2:00 pm, Monday, April 3, 2023, at Mason Cemetery, Arp, Texas with Reverend Ron Klingsick officiating. Joyce was a resident of the Arp community and a member of the Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church. She graduated with her bachelor’s in Home Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was a very talented florist, seamstress, and cook.

Survivors include her children; son, Lanny Musslewhite and wife, Le'Rae of Flint; daughter, Cindy Massey of Flint.

Sister, Doris Allen of Tyler; Brother-in-law, Tom Musslewhite of Tyler.

Grandchildren, Madi Musslewhite and Lacy Musslewhite Jackson, and a great-grandson, Landon Massey.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Musslewhite, and two grandchildren, Lance Massey and Jenny Massey.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton, Texas.
