A devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Katheryn dedicated much of her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. She found joy in listening to Don Williams sing, working word-search puzzles, watching GRIT TV, and spending time with her beloved fur babies.
Katheryn was preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy Johnson and Joseph "Joey" Johnson; her daughters, Lisa Heirholzer and Juanita Schafner; her granddaughter, Melinda Johnson Varner; and her brothers, Albert Stevens Jr., Robert Stevens, Carl Stevens, Cecil Stevens, Burnie Stevens, Earl Stevens, and Hershel Stevens.
She is survived by her brother, Ottis Stevens, her daughter, Judy, and her wife, Kim, of Gilmer; her daughter, Janice, of Troup; her son, James, and his wife, Jennifer, of Troup; and her son, Rick, and his wife, Shelley, of Troup. She also leaves behind a long legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Katheryn will be remembered for her loving heart, her dedication to her family, and the simple pleasures that brought her happiness throughout her life. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Though she has departed from this world, her memory will live on through the family and friends whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
