Knorvin “Buster” Ellis Ledford, 86, passed away on December 6, 2023, at his home in Whitehouse. He was born November 28, 1937, to the late Reagan and Julie Ledford. Visitation will be December 11th at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Troup. Graveside will be at Henry’s Chapel.
Buster graduated from Troup High School in 1956. After a short time at TJC he went to work in Shreveport, La for Childs Big Chain Warehouse. He served in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic. He moved back to Troup and began his career at Kelly Springfield Tire Co. for 37 years.
He met and married the love of his life Margarette Starleigh. They were married for 62 years.
Buster was a member of FBC Troup serving as a deacon for many years. He loved the Lord and looked forward to seeing his family and friends again in Heaven.
He loved to quail hunt in his younger years with his favorite dogs Molly and Mutt. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies, playing 42, working in his garden and yard. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and great grandchildren and his grand dog Gracie.
He is survived by his wife Margarette Ledford, Son Brad Ledford and wife Amy of Whitehouse, Grandchildren Lauren Miller and husband Thomas of Whitehouse, Lana Cook and husband Chris of Whitehouse. Sister Nell Mitchell and husband Gene of Swan. Great Grandchildren Liam Miller, and Blair Cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Reagan and Julie Ledford, Sisters Bobbie Reynolds and Evelyn Martin, Brothers Pete Ledford and Roy Ledford.

The family would like to thank Hospice of East Texas for their compassionate care of our loved one.
