Larry Stewart

Larry Cecil Stewart, 59, of Troup, passed away on May 22, 2023, in Jacksonville, Texas. He was born on December 16, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to the late Cecil Stewart and Betty Edgar Stewart.

Memorial services for Larry Stewart will be 3:00 pm, Friday, May 26, 2023, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, prior to the service.

Larry was a resident of the Mixon community. He retired as a Crane Operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a die hard Oklahoma Sooners fan, loved his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. He loved spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his son, Bradly Stewart and wife Taylor of Bullard; granddaughter, Parker Stewart and grandson on the way; mother of his children, Stephanie Smoot of Troup; siblings, Michael Stewart and wife Sandy of Tulsa, Ok, Janice Lewis of Tulsa, Ok, Shari Evans of Fort Gibson, Ok, David Stewart of Broken Arrow, Ok, and Vicki Clark and husband Michael of Broken Arrow, Ok; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Krag Jones and wife Rhonda of Bullard, Leslye Holley of Tyler, Erin Bailey of Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his daughter, Lindsey Stewart, and mother-in-law, Wilma Glossbrenner.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
